The next month we went to Capitol Hill and the area around the Melrose Market. It was a good day that we could actually sketch outside in February.

The first quarter ended with a day inside on a very rainy day. The Burke Museum on the University of Washington campus was our location of choice. The variety of exhibits made for an enjoyable day sketching things that have a deep history of the Pacific Northwest.
